Santa Cruz 제품들은 lot# 지정 발주가 불가능 합니다. 또한 이미 받으신 제품의 lot#는 소진이 되면 재생산하지 않습니다. 

 

홈페이지에서 COA를 다운로드 받으시면, 해당 제품의 expiration date 정보를 확인 하실 수 있습니다.

하지만, 동결건조 제품을 제외한 ATCC cryopreservated or frozen microbe 제품은 권장 온도에 보관하는 한 별도의 유효기간은 없습니다.

What is the expiration date of ATCC cultures?

The expiration date of ATCC cultures depends on the type of culture and the preservation method employed. Cryopreserved cultures which are stored in liquid nitrogen have no expiration date. Frozen microbial cultures also have no expiration date. The expiration date of freeze-dried cultures depends on the type of vial used.To obtain the expiration date of a specific culture, please contact ATCC Technical Service at 1-800-638-6597 or tech@atcc.org.

 

동결 건조 제품의 경우, 제품 자체가 아닌 제품이 담겨져 있는 vial에 의해 유효기간이 정해져 있는 경우가 있습니다. 아래 내용을 참고 하시기 바랍니다.

 

If the vial has a rubber stopper then there is an expiration date. If the vial is flame-sealed glass then there is no expiration date.  It depends upon the type of vial used to prepare the lot.  Small lots are flame-sealed by hand which is very time consuming but results in product that remains viable indefinitely.  Large lots tend to be in serum vials with a rubber stopper, however the stopper has an expiration date.

Q1. cDNA clones의 gene expression이 보장되나요? 

A1. ORIGENE사에서 판매하는 모든 cDNA clones은 홈페이지에 안내되어 있는 sequence가 일치함을 보장하며 gene expression은 보증되지 않습니다.

 

No. Every gene expression is different. Although the cDNA is driven by a strong promoter, mRNA can be expressed. However, a few factors can affect the steady state level of the protein of interest, including mRNA stability, protein translation efficiency and protein stability. Therefore, gene expression can not be guaranteed. This is the nature of genes. The sequence of a cDNA clone can be guaranteed to match the sequence posted on the website.

 

OriGene clone의 클레임은 잘못된 Sequence에 대해서만 가능합니다.

 • Clone(TrueClone, TrueORF) : gene expression can not be guaranteed. This is the nature of genes. The sequence of a cDNA clone can be guaranteed to match the sequence posted on the website.

 • TrueORF Gold : Please keep in mind that we guarantee the sequence of the clone posted on the website, and we guarantee the Western data of the clone expressed in HEK293 cells, and detected using a DDK antibody.

 

 

Q2. cDNA clones은 reference sequence와 일치 하나요?

A2. Sequence는 각 product page에서 확인할 수 있으며, NCBI reference와 다를 수 있기 때문에 구매하기 전에 확인이 필요합니다.

 

 

Q3. Tagging 된 GFP를 확인할 때 일반적인 GFP antibody를 사용해도 되나요?

A3. TrueORF clones에 사용된 GFP는 turboGFP로 일반적인 mGFP와는 다릅니다. ORIGENE의 anti-turboGFP antibody(TA150041)를 사용해야 합니다.

* turboGFP cannot be detected with antibodies to EGFP (assuming that is "normal" GFP). TurboGFP is a dimeric fluorescence protein we have licensed from Evrogen.  mGFP는 monomeric GFP 입니다.

A2. 아니요. 제공 가능한 무료 sample은 없지만 각 제품별로 trial size (20 ul)를 구입하여 사용해 보실 수 있습니다.
